SUMMARY:Take Space: Resonance — A Guided Creative Experience
DESCRIPTION:You don’t have to call yourself creative to Take Space.\nWhat could you create if you didn’t have to get it right?\nExplore paint and mixed media in a welcoming, guided experience that challenges ideas about what makes art ‘good.’ No experience necessary, no prescribed outcome—just room to experiment, follow your curiosity, and see what happens.\nIn Resonance, language meets art. A lyric, a quote, or something someone once said becomes a starting point for exploring colour, texture, and meaning on canvas.\nSunday, November 8, 2026, 1–5 pm at Dover Community Association, 3133 30 Avenue SE, Calgary, AB T2B 0G9. $15 total per participant; all materials and snacks provided. You’re welcome to bring your own snacks. Only 30 spaces; registration required.\nRecommended age 12+. For younger participants, please contact us to discuss suitability. Step-free access and accessible washrooms available. For access questions or other enquiries: takespaceartevents@outlook.com. Instructions will be emailed a couple of days before the event. Booking policy available on takespace.ca.\nBring your curiosity. See where it takes you.\nReserve your space: https://takespace.ca/products/take-space-resonance\n
